Choose a tab to start. How to make a MapleStory guild emblem
This MapleStory guild emblem maker creates the small symbol displayed beside a guild member’s character name in the 17x17 pixel format. If you already have a logo or picture, upload it to convert it to 17x17. For a non-square image, position the crop with the slider. To draw from scratch, open the drawing tab, select one of 80 templates or paint individual cells on an empty grid.
Drawing includes 4 tools: pen, eraser, flood fill and color picker. You also get undo/redo, horizontal and vertical flips, 90° rotation, a grid toggle and recent colors. Check actual-size, 8× and in-game nameplate previews; the saved file remains 17x17. Transparent areas are preserved in PNG downloads and clipboard PNG when enabled, while JPG fills them with white. Editing happens in your current browser without sending the image to a server.

Before registering in the game
After saving, use a simple filename with Latin letters or numbers and check the upload location and permissions required by your game version. Nexon’s Korean official guild/alliance guide describes custom uploads for guild level 10 or higher at 225,000 GP, with exactly 17x17 pixels and JPG or PNG files. It lists 150,000 GP for changing a preset emblem. This tool produces 17x17 PNG or JPG images; check that your region and server accept the chosen format. Registration requires a guild master or emblem editing permission, and inappropriate images may be removed or lead to penalties without notice. Toolvil creates the image and does not manage game accounts, permissions or registration.
If the emblem looks blurry or hard to recognize
A 17x17 grid leaves little room for detail. Several small letters tend to blur together, so a single large symbol often reads better. Limit the design to 2~3 colors and use a dark outline to separate its shape. Check the 8× and in-game previews before saving.
Sources and review criteria
The registration reference is Nexon’s Korean official guild/alliance guide, reviewed on 2026-09-07: guild level 10+, 225,000 GP, 150,000 GP for a preset change, 17x17 pixels, JPG/PNG and restrictions on inappropriate images. These are regional reference conditions, so check your current client and server before uploading. The editor preserves its native 17x17 PNG/JPG output, PNG transparency option and 32-color palette. Uploaded images are processed in your browser rather than sent to a server.
