How to copy emoji and special symbols
This collection makes it easy to copy emoji and symbols that are difficult to find on a phone or computer keyboard. It contains 2,116 unique base characters in 16 categories, including faces, hearts, people, animals, food, objects, mathematical symbols and text faces. Search for a shape or purpose, such as heart, sparkle, arrow, check or kaomoji, to see results across all categories with duplicates removed.
Click a character to copy it to the clipboard. The latest 12 copies stay in this browser, so you can use them again without repeating a search. This history is not sent to a server or account. The tool copies Unicode text rather than image files: paste it like ordinary text in Instagram, messaging apps, blogs, documents or game nicknames.
Characters available
- Common emoji for faces, hearts, people, animals, food and more

Before you copy

- Work and study: Use ✅·📌·⚠️·① for status and order in email, Slack, Notion or study notes.
- Game and community names: Combine decorative symbols such as ★·♛·「」 with text faces such as (•_•).
- Expressing emotions: Find emoji such as 😀·😂·🙏·🔥 and paste them into a message.
When search does not find what you need
You do not need the exact Unicode name. Try everyday words such as sparkle, cat or smiling face. Multiple words narrow the search to matches for every term. The skin-tone selector applies only where that variation exists. If there are too many results, browse a category and compare visually. If an in-app browser blocks copying, check its clipboard permission or add the characters to Collect and copy, then select and copy the text manually.
How Unicode copying works and data sources
Clicking copies Unicode text through the browser clipboard. The base catalog was reviewed on 2026-09-18 against the Unicode emoji list and Unicode CLDR names and keywords. English and Spanish display names were reviewed on 2026-11-01 using the same pinned CLDR snapshot and descriptive labels for other symbols. The base count excludes duplicates, repeated appearances in Popular or New emoji, and skin-tone variants. Some sequences with different tones for two people are outside this uniform-tone selector.
Appearance depends on the platform, device and operating-system version. Newer characters may be unavailable, and fonts can change the spacing of text faces. Check your actual device and app before publishing.
FAQ
Why do copied emoji or symbols look broken on another device?
Unicode values stay the same when copied, but the displayed glyph depends on the device, app and font. A newer emoji may appear as an empty box or several separate pictures. Updating can help, but does not guarantee support for every emoji. Paste into the intended app to check.
Why does the same emoji look different across platforms?
iOS, Android and Windows can use different artwork for the same Unicode character. Check the actual mobile app before posting if the appearance matters.
What should I check before using emoji commercially?
This tool copies Unicode text, not image files. If you separately extract an image or font asset for a product or design, check that asset’s license. Platforms may apply different terms to their artwork.
Where can I copy kaomoji or text emoticons?
Choose the (•_•) Text faces category to copy kaomoji such as ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) or ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. They are text sequences; spacing can differ with the fonts supported by each device.
How can I find a symbol quickly?
Search by a name or paste an emoji to look across all categories. The search field and grid stay in the same workspace when you change category. Reuse Recent copies or enable Collect and copy to combine characters and copy them together.
