About Toolvil
Toolvil is a collection of free web tools used right in the browser, with no installation and no login. We make calculator, converter, image, text, and game tools so they can be used quickly in one place and on a phone as well.
We make tools like these
Toolvil's tools came from two branches.
- Tools made for our own use: tools we made so we would not have to search every time, or rebuild in Excel, the calculation and conversion work we needed repeatedly while working.
- Tools people needed: we newly made tools that many people were looking for but for which there was no free tool worth using, or that were inconvenient to use because of ads and installation requirements.
So, before flashy features, we look first at an answer coming out as soon as you enter input, and being able to copy or download the result and use it right away.

If the tool you need is not on Toolvil, please let us know by email. If you send it with a concrete description added, we will review it and make it. Tools we make are published on Toolvil, and anyone can use them for free.

Error reports and corrections
If you find that a calculation result differs from the official basis, that a tool does not work properly, or that an explanation is wrong in some place, please let us know. If you send the page address, the values you entered, and the result that came out together, we will check and fix it, and if the basis has changed, we also update the source and the review date of that page.
Operating principles
- Local processing first (Privacy First): Where it is possible, tools calculate input values only inside the browser and do not send them to a server or store them. Images, text, and files are read directly in the browser.
- Calculators with sources: For calculators where the basis matters, such as finance and fees, we display the calculation scope and method, official source links, the review date and the next scheduled review date, and the disclaimer text so they can be seen directly on the page.
- Improvements that do not reduce features: When we fix or move a tool, we do not reduce core features such as charts, visualization, copy, and download.
- Mobile first: We design so that input and results can be checked even on a small screen without horizontal scrolling.
Update and review method
Each calculator has a "Calculation basis and sources" block that shows what is calculated and what is excluded, which formulas and institutional materials were referred to, the date of the last review, and the next scheduled review date. For tools whose basis can change, we check the sources and the wording again according to the scheduled review date and update them.
Disclaimer notice
Toolvil's finance and fee calculators are reference estimates based on the values the user entered and on published bases. They do not replace or guarantee actual bills, written agreements, loan approvals, taxes, or investment results, and the final amount and terms follow the latest basis and assessment of the relevant institution or financial company. Before an important decision, check again with official materials.
