Korean font preview guide: compare families with your own text
Korean fonts come from many publishers, including Baemin, Naver Nanum, Google Fonts and individual designers. Comparing separate sites can make it hard to see how a real slide title or caption will look. This tool brings 40 Korean font families distributed under OFL into one browser view. Enter your actual text to update all previews, then filter for slide titles, slide body, video captions, thumbnails, handwriting, playful or expressive styles. Purpose presets also choose a sample, size, weight and background. This is a curated Korean-font catalog, rather than a complete library of fonts for every writing system.
Select a font for the large preview, available weights, author and official download and license links. Save a PNG for use as an image, or install the official font files to edit text in PowerPoint or a video editor. PNG lines wrap at the desktop preview width, with a maximum line width of 964px, and the image is drawn at 2× resolution to fit the text. A phone therefore exports the same size as a computer, although its on-screen line breaks can differ. Choose light, dark, transparent or transparent outlined-caption output. For a website, Copy webfont code supplies the version-pinned stylesheet links and font-family declaration.

Before you start
- Font files load from jsDelivr CDN. A company or school network that blocks the CDN can leave some fonts marked Could not load.
- A PNG is an image of your text. To keep editing the wording as text in another program, install the font from its official source.
- A font with only 1 weight does not gain a new weight when Bold is selected. Available weights are shown with the selected font.
How to use
- Enter the title, caption or phrase in Preview text. A blank field uses the current purpose’s sample.
- Choose a purpose such as slide title, slide body, captions, thumbnail, handwriting, playful or expressive. Matching fonts remain and the preset sets size, weight and background.
- Open Detailed settings to adjust the size slider, Bold and the light, dark, outlined-caption or transparent background. Narrow the list with style or font-name search.
- Select a font card for its large preview, weights, author and official download and license links.
- Save a text PNG, install the font from its official publisher or copy the webfont code for your webpage.
Using OFL fonts in commercial work
SIL Open Font License (OFL 1.1) permits use, modification and redistribution under its conditions. Design outputs such as books, signs, captions, broadcasts, thumbnails, logos, websites and app screens may be commercial and do not require a font-license notice on the artwork. Font files themselves cannot be sold alone. Redistributing font files requires the copyright notice and full license. If Reserved Font Names (RFNs) are declared, a modified version cannot use them as its primary name without explicit written permission from the copyright holder. Baemin fonts are also distributed by Woowa Brothers under OFL; the publisher describes commercial and noncommercial design uses while prohibiting standalone font-file sales.
Absence from this page does not mean that a font is outside OFL. Gmarket Sans, for example, is described as SIL OFL by its official publisher but is not included in this 40-family catalog. For fonts outside the list, obtain the files and original license from the official publisher. This catalog is a selection of families, not a classification of the licenses of every free font.
Choosing fonts for slides, captions and thumbnails
For slides, start with text that can be read from a distance: a strong sans serif or display face for headings and a clean family with several weights for body text. Matching related heading and body styles can keep a presentation consistent. Video backgrounds change, so compare a bold sans serif with an outline and check it at phone size. Thumbnails need short text that remains readable in a small listing image. Handwriting, playful and expressive fonts can set a mood in a short phrase but may be tiring in long passages. Judge the result with your actual wording.
The catalog and license descriptions are based on the per-font OFL texts in the Google Fonts repository and publisher pages reviewed on 2026-09-24. Publishers can change files or terms. Reopen each original license before an important commercial project.

Can I use these free fonts commercially?
All 40 families on this page are distributed under SIL Open Font License (OFL 1.1). OFL permits commercial outputs such as printed material, video captions, thumbnails, logos, websites and apps, without requiring a font-license notice on the artwork. Font files cannot be sold by themselves. Redistributing the font files requires their copyright notice and full license. If Reserved Font Names (RFNs) are declared, modified versions cannot use them as their primary names without explicit written permission from the copyright holder. Each family links to its original license; check it before important work.
Which fonts suit slides, and what if the presentation computer does not have them?
For headings, compare bold Pretendard, Noto Sans KR or Gothic A1, or a heavy display font such as Black Han Sans or Do Hyeon. For body text, try a clean multi-weight sans serif or a serif such as Nanum Myeongjo or Gowun Batang. The slide-title and slide-body filters let you compare actual presentation text. If the presenting computer lacks the font, substitution can change line breaks. Use font embedding when supported by your PowerPoint version, or install the same fonts on that computer.
How should I choose a font for video captions?
Video backgrounds keep changing, so compare a bold sans serif with a dark outline. The Video captions preset provides a caption background and white text with an outline for comparison. Check the result at phone size so strokes do not merge when small. Exporting that state makes a transparent outlined-caption PNG you can overlay in an editor or thumbnail. To edit the wording as text in another program, download and install the font from its official source.
What if previews load slowly or say Could not load?
Font files load from the public jsDelivr CDN. Korean fonts can be large, so the browser requests the subsets needed for your text. A new font or new characters can briefly appear in a fallback font before loading. A network that blocks the CDN can cause a load failure; the tool does not export a PNG when its font-loading check fails. Try another connection, reload and select the font again. Loading does not prove support for every character: unavailable letters may still use a fallback. Installable font files come from each official publisher.
Why are Baemin Hanna and Euljiro fonts missing?
This preview includes the Baemin fonts distributed through Google Fonts: Do Hyeon, Jua, Yeon Sung and Kirang Haerang. Other Baemin families, including Hanna, Hanna Air, Hanna Pro, Euljiro, Euljiro 10 Years Later, Euljiro Oraeorae, Glim and Kkubullim, are offered by Woowa Brothers under OFL but are outside the current Google Fonts-based catalog. Find missing Baemin fonts on the official publisher page and install them for use in your applications. Their original license, including the restriction on standalone font-file sales, remains the reference.
